If you saw them in person you would think them younger. The photos don't do justice right now. The teeth are that new white, or opaque white, such as in young age. Not the sorta white...They act puppy and have never been in a crate. They are learning. And they are chewing everything in site, at least the one with no leash on still is...<G>.
They could be 1 1/2, but they are acting the same age as my 10 month old personal male pup. So lets say 11 months to 1 1/2 yrs old!!!! I am trying to work with them one at a time. They haven't been separated and are dependent on one another. I think they would do much better if separated. They don't listen at all when they are together.
They really are sweet dogs though. Not a mean hair in their bodies!!!! I have been checking the lost ads in the newspapers in the area too. NOthing there. Someone did email me and think that they knew who the breeder was, so am waiting for that follow up email too...I think they are from larger stock, such as the breeders are trying to produce in Lolo, MT, the one Jenni was talking about...the oversize dogs......thinking that is so great!!!! Stupid people.
Later, Steph

That's why we typically don't recommend raising two pups together; they tend to bond with one another rather than their humans.

Pending an actual owner turning up soon. He will be staying here for neutering and some training first.
Some people that adopted Samantha, 4 yr old bi-color I had, (from former military owners) fell in love with the pair. So they will have a new pair. The "Dad" is going over to Afghanistan to work for 4 months, so the "Mom" will work with the dogs, till "Dad" comes home.
I wish him a safe journey into and coming back from Afghanistan.
Sincerely, Steph
Onyx is still available....the "Dad" liked the name Odin....so the other is Onyx!!!

LOL, I see Brook still has her ball. Glad you have a home for Odin. Did you try using a flashlight behind the ear to look for a tattoo. I too would be crushed to find my dog neutered. They are so nice, someone has got to be looking for them. They would never think to lookin in Montana. How long ago were they picked up? I know it's hard on you to hang onto them for any length of time but I wish you would hang on to these two a bit longer, intact.
Love you and all you do for the breed.
Deb

We have 2 rescues and two Planned GSD's here, all adored equally. (though our Basset will tell you that she NEVER gets any attention when the 4 Shepherds are around my desk... she lies, bein' a hound dawg).
