Hey! A girls gotta have a little fun!

Jenni78-I got some looks from the parking guys & the receptionists, but the nurses @ radiation were in costume, too! I was given my first treatment by a witch, a black fairy with wings, a kitten, & Doc from the 7 Dwarves! Lmao! So I didn't feel like such a freak! And they were happy too, they said I was only the 2nd patient to come in costume! Is it wrong to feel more comfortable with a bunch of nuts? Lol!
Hexe-- my dogs barked like crazy! Lol! But Ansgar accompanied  me as I gave out Halloween candy. Sadly, it soon began to pour, so I retreated with my little dog, too. Can't get sick so close (I hope ) to the finish line!

Update:  Hi Everyone.... Since my last chemo I've been feeling fairly crummy, nauseous & short of breath. The CT I had a week ago revealed why. I have a huge lymphocele behind my liver, displacing my liver, right lung, & other structures. It is a big collection of fluid....& I will have a minor surgical procedure Monday to drain it. They will check the fluid to make sure it's not cancerous, but I'm thinking positive! So, now the last 3 cycles of chemo are on hold until January. And all I have to do is daily radiation!
If all goes well I'll be able to return to work November18th! WooHoo!
And my sweetie bought me a present.....to keep my head warm & boost my spirit.....

what do you think? My dogs approve!!!

Thanks for straightening me out, I needed that! Thank you BeeTree, I'm at the "I just want this to be over" stage! I wasn't happy to learn that it's going to take 2 more months, but I'll be working so that time will fly!
