Well damn, I so sorry you such a sucky day.  I know what you mean with the team not being on the same page, I once had surgery go terribly wrong and if that wasn't enough, the nursing staff failed on spotting the signs.  Give them hell and make them get it together, expect nothing else and accept only that.

Last I heard, YR was stuck in traffic on the way to Jackie's house.  Hopefully, she's there by now.  Great pics, makes me want to hit the highway, LOL.

Hope tomorrow's a better day girl.  Get some rest.

Yeah, Cin, she finally made it to my house! She and her shiny new hubby took me out to dinner. We did end up at Chili's, which works out since they do good margaritas. Sure wish you were here! Your ears will be burning....

My dogs about knocked down Mr. YR. He gave up and went to bed.

Poor YR got carsick in the Giant Sequoias. Mr. YR got bored with that and went off on some Sherman Tree hike.

Hey Jackie. I'm sorry you are feeling so frustrated. Yes, it does often seem as though the right hand doesnt know what the left hand is doing when it comes to healthcare :( That said, it seems like your doctors are on top of thngs and are very proactive. Did they tell you why they are taking a CT scan? Maybe it is routine?

"Well, its always good to hope." Oh my! Some people just shouldn't be in the healthcare field!! What a stupid and insensitive thing to say! Was this someone in the oncology office? When someone would do or say something stupid or inappropriate to my mom I would report it to the doctor and tell him I didnt want that person working with my mom. I would always be diplomatic about it, but get my point across.

YR I'm sorry you got carsick in the redwoods, they are so beautiful, but you'll be remembering breakfast, or whatever else came up, lol! Sorry Mr YR wasn't there for you!
StarrChar, it was the female doctor that checks me in between the surgeons checks, & she's usually uber positive... I felt like the focus had changed, but they're gonna let the surgeon do the dirty work...my CT & surgeon visit weren't supposed to be until December, so something's gotta be up. I guess I'll find out soon enough, but I'm still thinking positive! I'm going to schedule my return to work exam for next week too! That'll show 'em!! jackie harris

Jackie, until told otherwise I'm going with them moving up the CT & surgeon appointment because they aren't seeing what they expected [ i.e. any sign of progression or mets] and need to see proof that you are vanquishing the disease more efficiently than they could have dreamed.  Ansgar hasn't indicated anything's amiss and I'll take her read, since she found the initial problem to begin with.  

I want to be NED!!!  (no evidence of disease)
I'm going with what Hexe said, my girl & I were having some grooming time, & she was absolutely not interested in me at all, except as I could scratch her neck. I'm feeling not as bad this time after chemo & Neulasta. I doubled my intake of B-complex vitamins, & that seems to have helped! Blitzen, Vonissk, Travels, YR, StarrChar, & Hexe... Thank you so much for your support. I feel like crunch time is coming up, I appreciate your support more than you could ever know! I wish I were rich, so I could send you wonderful things to thank you! All I can send is my heartfelt thanks!
