Agreed Joanro. A novice who would fall in love with the puppy and not want to return it. Like I said in my previous post, I find it no coincidence this puppy ended up thousands of miles away from the breeder and into the arms of someone who couldn't wait to get her hands on her first "high end" GSD and who didn't want to return it. 

Keeping it simple, stupid, shame on Hans and Jiri; this is absolutely disgraceful albeit not at all surprising behavior for 2 men who profess to be professionals and honest in their dogs dealings. Your excuses are lame and are tedious; you are just putting lipstick on your pig.

Here we are again discussing the same old - one more black mark on an already tarnished breed that has become the laughing stock of the dog world in the US. Most in other breeds can't understand the concept of using brokers,  importing dogs when we have had the opportunity to breed our own good GSD's here for how many years now. Why hasn't that happened? Advertising pg bitches for sale, bitches that are "ready to be bred", shipping pg bitches so late in their pregnancy that they whelp in the airline crate horrifies many of my friends, it should horrifiy all of  us. Are these companion animals or livestock? When are we Americans going to smarten up and stop being cash cows for European breeders?

Chrissy dear, just move on and tell these men where they can put their egos. You have plenty of honest and sincere people here who want to help you finance your boy's surgery; people who will not let you down. You don't need their crap. Report your experience with them to RipOff reports and all other internet websites that  are intended to out scammers. It is not libel when it's true.

Aakay, maybe it happened because they had a pup with a horrific overbite and they matched it up with a novice instead of Hans.

Joanro, that could very well have a rational explanation, right ?  In a litter, you get all sorts of pups and responsible breeders try to match the right pups to the right owners, right ?  You would not want an extreme high-drive pup to go to a novice handler, which could be simply courting trouble in the future.

So in this instance, the pup that was sent over to Hans, may just have been a bit of a handful for a novice (just making a wild guess here), and thus the need to make sure that it did not get mixed with any other pup......not making excuses here, but just trying to explain what could be the case here. 

But that still does not excuse the fact that the pup that Chrissy got, should have been thoroughly inspected for faults (structural, dentition etc) PRIOR to shipment, and that is where the ball seems to have been dropped.   

Puppies are generally tattooed between 7-8 weeks of age.

This puppy was shipped at about 8 weeks of age.

How in the F*** was this overbite MISSED???

Are you talking about my joining the forum as a "weird joining" ?  And if so, then why ? Could you explain ?  Any of my past postings indicate any "weirdness" to you ?  Just curious.  I like rational, well thought out responses.  I personally am not a big fan of lynch-mobs, as seems to be the case here and hence the couple of posts I made in this thread.

Just to clarify, the Czech GSD was not sourced from Hans or Jinopo, even though my girl has Jinopo dogs (Xant z JD, Yska z JD, Navar Hronovsky Pramen and Puci Jipo-me) in her pedigree.  Love her !

Rational reasons still won't explain why there has been so many in just this past year that Hans has screwed. But with that said he still has members here trying to come to his rescue. I bet you all would stop if you had to see how many bad deals that haven't even got to this forum by others. Keep supporting this man and he will continue to screw others. Google Alpine K-9 and be ready for all the crap that comes up. But keep supporting him!!

The reason for that statement is because of all the HIGH NOtES , SAID HANS HAS BEEN singing before this happened and was brought to light for the more than First time...Please go read other posts and threads to educate yourself about this  COMPANY doing business here..

As a matter of info, several years back , a well known breeder of DDR dogs said and I quote  " Beware of Hans"  and everyone hated her, and dogged her as crazy???
