aaykay,
My friend I am not hiding behind my keyboard. Hans and I know each other, we have met in person. He has my phone number and can call me any time. As a matter of fact several members of this forum have met me and been to my home during seminars which I have hosted. No one is hiding here, quite the opposite. You appear to be a relative newcomer to the GSD world and taken in by the magic of Hans, Jiri and Jinopo. I wish you the best of luck with your dogs and a happy new year.
Nothing has been worked out yet and this is taking way too long. It seems nothing will be worked out by Hans. It should have taken 5 minutes, 6 months ago. You really do not want to be Hans' sycophant do you, ask some of his other cheerleaders how that worked out?
Would you buy your next dog, tomorrow from Hans sight unseen knowing all of this?
Jim

Hans should be inspecting every single puppy that he sells and warranties before transferring ownership. That would be the smart business thing to do
Completely agree with this. Especially in cases like this, where the transaction happens via the internet, and where the buyer is not able to personally inspect what he/she is getting, there should be complete and totally transparent description of what is being shipped....warts and all....with a thorough inspection done at the source, since any corrections that would need to be made after the shipment is done, would be expensive and time-consuming for all parties.
Seems like somebody seriously dropped the ball somewhere, in this particular instance, since this puppy should never have been shipped at all. Maybe this happened due to the large volumes that one is looking at here, I am guessing.

We have actually purchased every dog/pup we own sight unseen, and have been happy with each and every one. Yes, we have had bad hips pop up, but thats just the "odds" in dealing with this breed. We certainly didn't blame the breeder, shit happens.
The BIGGEST problem here is this, this puppy Kaiser was sold to Chrissy thru Jinopo via Hans at Alpine K9. Hans and Chrissy evidently "split" shipping fees as Hans recieved a puppy from the same litter. Hans has stated himself he was told to "check tattoos" to get the "right puppy", and he claims he never saw the huge overbite.
Both Jiri and Hans claim to have "missed it", "made a misstake, F***** up", so, on the second day of owning her dream puppy that she saved her hard earned money for, she sees the overbite, her a novice. She then tries to contact the American rep for Jinopo, Hans, and is told he will call her back. She waits over 10 days before she hears from him. She tried him via telephone 3 times in that 10 day period and never once recieved a call back. She also emailed him pics of the overbite.
I can only assume they were the same pictures she posted, and if so, a blind dead man could see that overbite right away.
After having the pup for as long as she did, coupled with the lack of communication from the American rep for Jinopo, she understandably lost faith in Hans and Jiri.
She decided to keep the pup. Can you imagine the frustration and embarassment she had? She felt like she had been "got"...and she HAD!
Now the poor pup has bad hips, not just "sort of bad"--really f*cking bad hips. He needs surgery so that he may hopefully lead an active pain free life.
He has an owner that obviously loves him and is willing to do just about anything for him. Both Chrissy and Kaiser are the victims here, NOT Hans.
Hans is a representative for Jinopo, he was the broker for this sale, ergo, he should do what is right and refund this girls hard earned money for purchase and shipping of this pup. Nothing else is acceptable. This girl in all liklihood would NOT have accepted this pup had she been made aware of his overbite BEFORE he was shipped here.
All this always comes back to them shipping a puppy with a glaring health/structural issue. The hips are now just adding to the pile.

Well, if I know somebody in person, then it would be tough for me to make statements like "f** c**** sings" etc. Pretty, crude actually.
Are you a competitor of Hans/Jiri/Jinopo by any chance ? Just using this opportunity to sling some serious mud ? Hit while the guy is down ?

aaykay,
Hans saw the puppy remember. He had to make sure "he got the right puppy" and didn't take Chrissy's by "mistake."

aaykay,
I am no competitor of anyones. I do not sell dogs and I do not breed dogs. I raise and train all of my dogs from pups that I purchase from reputable breeders. I have done SchH since the 90's and work a dog every day. I do not have a dog in this fight or anything to gain. I simply do not like people being taken advantage of, as is happening here. Crude, no not really......Taking advantage of a young girl now that is crude and despicable.
Jim
Nothing to gain, nothing to sell, comes here for free and offers advice on occasion.

Aakay, maybe it happened because they had a pup with a horrific overbite and they matched it up with a novice instead of Hans. Probably would be a better guess.

Yes Slamdunc he did however he said that it was dark and he couldn't see. Every place I have ever worked has ALWAYS inspected goods before accepting them into inventory and distributing them. Once you accept them into your inventory they become your responsibility. Once they are on your "shelf" then it is your name at stake and that is why you inspect before accepting into inventory. When you go to the store and there is a crushed box of cereal on the shelf you don't think to yourself "why would Kellogg's try to sell me a crushed box?". You think to yourself "Why would Safeway try to sell me a crushed box?".
So Hans... why don't you do a complete inspection of all puppies that you warranty and sell? Why should someone buy a puppy through you if you don't do this? Seems like you would want to do this to protect yourself from Jinopo and from the people you are selling puppies to. Seems like you would want to verify the puppy is what the buyer wanted.
