Jackie....so pleased to hear it's just a little bit easier at least......you are such a star.

I echo what Marjorie said.

Thank you! I do so appreciate all of your support! This is a trying week, I'm going with my daughter tomorrow to her doctor as she addresses her own issues, poor dear, & then at the end of the week I must attend a work related activity. I'm worried for my daughter, I hope more than anything that she's OK; & of course I don't feel like dressing up for the work function, but I must, so I will...& all the while my dear Ansgar has a torn heel pad, I've been soaking it, now the vet has started her on antibiotics due to the swelling. Never a dull moment!

Jackie- I am so sorry to hear what you are going through. My prayers are also with you(and just so you know, me and God are just like this{fingers crossed, overlapping}lol).
God knows we need to keep the good people here, those like you...
I just had a little similar scare myself, but everything turned out good.
Fight the good Fight, there are still so many things you have left to do.
You have the prayers of many with you!
I look forward to many more years of hearing from you.

Oh my, Jackie. Your plate is more than full right now. I sure hope your daughter gets good news tomorrow. Please keep us posted. I imagine by the end of the week you will have more energy than today, so the task of going to your meeting hopefully wont be too taxing. And then Ansgar...poor girl. But, she will likely heal up just fine under your care. Still all of these things are added stress. I'm so sorry. Did you get your ca125 results back yet? Praying it is good news! Xxxxx

Hi StarrChar, My Ca-125 was down a little, from 176 to 159. Moving in the right direction, but the nurse was concerned that it wasn't lower. We'll watch it & measure it before each chemo, so hopefully it will continue to drop. I'm hoping for good news for my daughter, too. She's been so worried about me, she was letting her own concerns slide, I sure hope that doesn't hurt her. It's always worse when it's your child, but I'm hoping this is just a wake up call for her. --not that she needs one!!!-----I hope & pray!!! And Ansgars foot already looks a little better, she's such a sweet little girl!

I remember when my mom's ca125 went up a after her first treatment the oncologist was not concerned and said it was not unusual, so it seems the fact that it went down even a little is still good news. Are you getting Taxol and Carboplatinum?

Yes, when our kids have health problems it is terribly worrisome and stressful, no matter how old they may be.

Glad to hear Ansgar is better already!

Hugs to you, Jackie.

Yes, Taxol & Carboplatin. Apparently they expected it to be lower, I was happy it went down, they not so much....! Kids, no matter how old they get, they're still your kids
Ansgars sad tonight, she lost the battle of the pill!
