Scores reflect skills of handler/trainer...not necessarily the dog.
Lynx,
If you go to www.truehaus.com & scroll down there is video of Tommy doing PSA
I disagree. The fact that the dog had been titled in SchH and PSA was brought up. The sport (if properly applied) is an evaluation of" the dog" for the breeding suitability of "the dog", not the handler. If it weren't for the series of standardized tests, who evaluates the dog, you?
pathethic.. do it or talk shit about it..
Duderino, lets see your scores with your Doberman. A simple question was asked, no one brought up scores or ? if a doberman could do the work.

And a retort comment was made that because a dog has a SchH3 doesn't necessarily make it an "outstanding" dog. I personally don't consider a Dobermann to be a working dog (any more). At one time maybe, but in this day and age, the breed has been taken over by the show line standard and working temperament is secondary, if that. A Dobermann was brought up in the conversation of dogs with multiple titles from different disciplines to which I will reply, for every Dobermann with a properly tested SchH3, I can probably find 100 that cannot do the work. Personally, I would hold it in much higher regard if the dog had a FR or Campagne or NVBK title or NVBK certification than I would a PSA title written on notebook paper.
Personally, (again) I think when a Dobermann enters a SchH trial, it should do the long bite first and maybe the escape bite second and if it can pass those 2 exercises, properly done, then let it go do the other phases. If I see one at a trial, I don't even watch the other exercises as it hurts my eyes. Just show me the long.
Whatever, to each his own.
Dude,
What's going on? Such hostility today.......................... on this thread and others today. OP asked a question. We received a few responses. Then we got yours?
Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot that if you have a contrary opinion and find flaws with a popular premise or theory, that must mean you are wrong and lack knowledge of the subject matter. I kinda like things more in the 60's and 70's before everyone had to be politically correct and people didn't cry if you told them the word "No".
