You just HAVE to love a dog that seems to have already read and memorized the description of the exercise or task you're asking them to do, as if they were just waiting for you to catch up with them and get on the same page, y'know? Have been fortunate to have had a couple of dogs like that, and they do spoil us for the ones that aren't quite as precocious.
I wish for many more happy, healthy and active years together for you both.
You're welcome [for the links]

Our goal is 15 years for all our dogs.
Our last GSD made it 15.5.
Rimadyl destroyed her liver many years later after an ACL repair.
I currently have a 14.5 year old German Pinscher and 4.5 year old GSD.
Our cats usually live 18~20 years.
We also RAW feed and minimally vaccinate.

I lost my GSD Blitz to mega osophagus at the age of two. I now have a five month old who shows no signs of this awful disease and I hope will stay fit and well and have a long happy life.

Joan Ajsa still looks like she has it going on:) Great looking girl! Tazer says happy birthday grandma! Tazer displays that enthusiasm you speak of 100% and we already know he's too smart for his own good:)
The oldest GSD we've had was 15 years old and died of old age in her sleep. Slowed down her last 1.5 years of her life but still got out daily with no assistance.
