You didn't know Dash was related to Dallas before you saw the pedigree? He looks almost exactly like him. Behold the power of evil linebreeding Wink Smile.

von, this little girl of mine, is cousin to yours, through the American lines.

Just thought I'd tell you that so you know I was in no way meaning anything negative about the American dogs in your pedigree, I have a couple myself bred the exact same way.

Those are some real nice looking pups you got there.

Where are the Trommel dogs in the pedigree? I couldn't find them.

I do see the resemblance to Dallas. What threw me off, I guess, was the stack, which is not a typical ASL stack with the head raised and the hind leg stretched waaay too far out.

Also, Dash is redder than Dallas, and the ears are bigger, which makes him look even MORE German! (I never thought Dallas looked all that German, even though people said he did. He just didn't look like a typical ASL, as he had heavier bone, a more masculine head, more upright pasterns, etc.)

Hey SS how are you doing? OK I have the link for you. This is the dam of Sally the blk/red Dash girl. Her name is BB and she is solid black, built a lot like my Mauli--more stocky. She is the one that brings the Trommel lines in.

Sorry I don't have a pic of her...................I agree in that I never thought Dallas looked German either. I do like what I have seen of Dash in pics. He belongs to Carmen Batagglia.

Thank you KitKat. She is a stunner and I can see some resemblence. I think her head looks a little stockier than Mni's. Mni seems to have more Am head. For all other purposes thank you again.

I took some new pics last night and we will have to see how they look. Don't want to embarass myself.....L:OL........................

Now, THAT'S a very interesting pedigree, and one that is rare as hen's teeth in the ASLs!

NOT ONE SINGLE MENTION OF LANCE OR HIS PROGENY!!

Someone was not a fan of his, that's for sure!  Teeth Smile

SS these lines are 100% Lance free-now there is some Yoncalla Mike behind them--Bec knew him personally and really liked him. Said that is where the absolute self thinkers came into our lines.

Someone else on this board PMed me the other day regarding the old American lines thread. She looked at Mauli's ped another interesting one which is exactly what she said. I am happy with these dogs--yes everything needs improving and I hope to do so but for foundation dogs IMO I could not have done any better.

I am very familiar with Cheerleader aka Leeda--Mni's grandmother and who started it all by breeding to Boba..............Mni is bred 2-3 on her--I liked Leeda one of the best ASL dogs I have met as far as character temperament and not extreme structure--Leeda was very protective but yet outgoing as long as Mom was around. I think that's where that more AM style head falls into play. If and when I ever bred her I would want to avoid beinging into any more ASL in unless it was only a tad and very strong..........definately no more Dallas blood. LOL.............I liked him but because Dash was linebred on him I just feel there is enough of the name brand stuff there..................JMO
