Well, I didn't make it up. The blame for the decline in the breed is often placed on buyer demand and greedy breeding motives. You can't make the connection?

As a matter of fact, what would any one conclude any breeder would be hoping for if they state up front, they will be charging more for a certain color? It is IMHO, a fairly certain conclusion that is any thing but weird. They hope the dice rolls with the more expensively priced color, of course.

There are Workingline breeders, probably most of them really, who claim time and again they won't have anything to do with the taint of Showlines in their lines.
They consider the degradation beyond repair. The degradation blame conversation always goes to saying: breeders have no choice but to appease ignorant buyers demanding a pretty dog. It has forced the breeders to concentrate on color at the expense of say, temperament or perhaps working ability?

Here's another breeder that's doing this:
http://www.browninghausgermanshepherds.com/

Check out the pedigree of their stud, Justice for all. You will not see a single title on any of his ancestors, nor do I recognize a single name in his 5-generation pedigree!  Sick

rtdmmcintyre I have a hard time believing the weights listed on all those females.  I've learned in the past that some people "estimate" their dogs weights, and theyre not real correct weights.
