I was thinking I could use both if need be but I'm going to start checking around my local butchers and see what I can come up with. I also have some buddies that are avid hunters so I can get organs and bones from them no problem.

And just to add; I don't feed an organ meal, I feed a small amount of some sort of organ meat a couple times per week; the organ meat is the size of a deck of cards or the palm of your hand; that is it. If you have it ground up like say liver/heart/kidney altogether then a couple of tablespoons say every other day is good. It is not a lot of organ meat at one time or more than say 5 to 10% of the diet say 3 days per week. That is it.

I'll use any organs I can get. Liver, chicken hearts, and gizzards can be bought at any grocery store. When hunters bring real fresh organs is best. I will also add it into a meal. Not full organ meal. It will be mixed in with other meat, or mixed with yogurt, green tripe, or whatever I feel like feeding at the time.
