why do people insist on making up coat names?  There is a long coat, a long stock coat and a stock coat.

Because its a lot shorter to type *Plush* than* long stock coat* ? Because people have a tendency to give nicknames? With all the crap that is going on in this world, is this SERIOUSLY  what you choose to focus on??????
Evidently...sheesh......

sick dog mate, love the "plushies"

by zdog on 30 July 2012 - 23:07

as evidenced by one post containing 2 sentences, yes, this is the focus of my life

by killerqueen1987 on 31 July 2012 - 01:07

zdog is right though, when @lennonmccartney, says plush stockcoat, it actually means "long stock coat" cause there is only three types of coats(short stock, long stock  coats and long coated GSD)

I really think all of us on the PDB know that plush coat is a   MODERN TERM used by many people.

I knew the minute I said it or wrote it someone would make the post  that there is no such coat..

WE ALL KNOW THAT>>>BEEN HAMMERED ENOUGH TIMES>>

Many many well known educated breeders just call it that...it seems to make a difference when the coat is VERY THICK>>>>

makes it easier to describe..  THUS saying.....thanks for making it CLEAR to those who may enter their dogs in an event and need to PROPERLY describe its coat.

JUST remember too, there is no BLACK SABLE ...lol
