I had a dog that was fussy. He'd get hungry hoping I'd put 'nicer' food his way..
I weaned him off this by making him 'wait!' for his food, which had the kibble and a favourite treat in. The dog learned to anticipate the treat being in the food, and had to WAIT for my word to go.
Took about 4 days to have him dancing on his back leags in anticipation of meals, whether there was a treat in there or not.
I also feed twice a day, as I found one dog would produce bile if fed only once.
Also, I recently changed from a weel-known 'quality' kibble (with a 'quality' tag), to a cheaper one that an old dog man recommended. Even my fussiest dog scoffs it down!!
MNJ, 'POWERFREAKING' made me lol. :)
