Yes its coat is fluffy and some fur on ears (may be long coat from ears only :)

I have also consulted to my vet, he said just wait until he's 6 months becoz his ears are heavy

I am guessing this is in India.  I am in India currently, as an expat for the next few years and have my GSDs and Lab with me. One does see pretty strange sights in this neck of the woods, when it comes to raising dogs.  Awareness about the needs of a dog seems to be next to nil, for the most part.  Selling a puppy at 4-5 weeks old, and parting him/her from his/her mother and siblings, seem to be the norm than an exception, from my understanding. Testing for HD/ED is non-existent, except for some very rare exceptions.

A few weeks back, a couple of people (probably people who were paid some money to take the dog out) were on a motor-scooter, with a 3-4 month old GSD puppy running beside them on hard tarmac.  The fellow who was the pillion-rider, was holding a string, with the other end linked to the puppy.  I guess the idi0ts were "excercising" the puppy and in the process, destroying its young joints by all of that running on rock-hard roads.  One finds that the owners rarely (if ever) interact with their own dogs and one finds servants (with little to no training or affinity to dogs), leading these dogs for their walks.  Dogs just growing up like waifs.

Stray dogs are an ever present menace and they (being territorial) get pretty nasty when one makes an accidental venture outward with one's dogs.  Don't know if things are different in rural surroundings but the urban/semi-urban regions seem to be infested with gangs of strays.

Having said all of the above, in this particular puppy's case, I believe he is a normal puppy with normal ears and his ears will not have a problem.  I would also follow the vets advice and wait till he is at least 6 months old, before being concerned.

do you know if the snake was venomous?   I would be concerned if it ate venom sacs.
But if not venomous then pup should be fine, you may want to de-worm the pup just incase the snake had worms...I've heard of snakes getting tapeworms.

I have heard that sometimes the long coated pups need to have the hair trimmed on their ears because it can weight them down, preventing the ears from standing. It's my understanding that you need to be very careful about how the ears are trimmed and unfortunately I can't help you in that area as I have no experience. Hopefully someone else can give you some guidance.

Please be so kind and take some pictures from the side, camera on the same level as the puppy.

It´s a cute puppy, but something looks wrong. A couple of months ago I asked you about the parents - do you have pictures now, or did you have the possibility to meet them?

Kind regards,
Susie

If he is a purebred GSD, I would be getting concerned about the ears now.  They are still very heavy for 5 months. I would tape now.
