For one brief moment, I thought I saw my boy in the wood last Sunday afternoon . . . but it was my red sable female holding her head as he often did with a ray of filtering sunlight changing her coat of red to his coat of gold-my heart did leap.

I'm so sorry for your loss, they just aren't with us long enough. I'm sure your boy does watch you still, just as you remember him. I'm very sure that devotion like that does not just stop when life ends. It must continue, somehow. I think sometimes we percieve it at the edge of our senses....
