Sonora, thanks for the critique, I tend to agree with most of it. I looked at her image and can see how it looks like she's e/w in the front. I believe its an allusion caused by her toe penciling that runs extensively down the sides of her feet. I just lifted her chest and feet up and set her down; and her feet are almost perfectly straight. However, she is a little cow hocked.

She was pretty out of shape when she came. Cant blame her after having 8 pups. But we are working her back up.

If you aren't close to a beach, try burying her favorite toy in a deep bin of sand for her to dig out. Most high drive dogs LOVE that game and will do it over and over.

She's not the one to blame anyway for being out shape;-)
Make her walk on big rocks, or cross logs tightrope-style. This helps firm up feet, too.

Hi mfh27,
Please post a front view( photo) of your dog, standing naturally.
Because that's what the judge will see.
Once the dog moves and stands naturally, it will show all its virtues and shortcomings.
Stacking/setting a dog up by lifting it up and setting it down could affect the backline.
I used to walk my dog into position and then adjust the hinds.
sorry about the eyes I may be wrong, I call it as I see it.

I'll have to retake her front pic that I took a month ago; I dont remember if I walked her into the stand or picked her front up.
Its not rocky here. Will running her on roots on wooded trails be similar?
Thanks everyone for the comments.
