sable color question

I have found with sables.. that there is a triangle of dark fur on their tail.. in my experience.. the dog usually ends up close to that dark color..by the time they are 3 or 4 years old.. they do go thru a lighter stage ..then darken up again as they shed their puppy coat out and regrow the new coat..

what age do dogs usually go through a lighter phase maybe at a year old?

mine is still changing..she just went through "poofing" stage...i had bags and bags of white hair brushed out of her and she is still shedding...I cant wait to see whats left..LOL.

3 month VERY dark.
