He is a cutie.  Dying to see what color he will end up being...of course it will change so it's not like it's ever a permanant "end" color.

Sharing more pictures of my darling with you all, the photoes were taken late last month when he was 6 and a half month old.

Unfortunately, I am still wondering if he's a true GSD due to most of people around here told me that he's just a "Wolf Dog". I am really don't know how to distingush a GSD, DDR or wolf dog. According to some introduction to GSD coat type, sometime I think my darling is a red sable gsd, right? Waiting for your inputs......

At the moment he may look like an alien   but yes definately German Shepherd, just wait until he grows into those ears.

Here is one of my girls at the same age, should have called her Radar.

Oh, my, what a dramatic darkening of his coat since the last pics were taken! The previous set made it look like he was going to have very poor pigment. Very interesting to see all the changes our young ones go through as they grow up!

My husband used to call the gal in my sig 'Bat Lady" when she was young, due to her big ears! She turned out to have a very nice feminine head by the time she was grown.

I still think your boy is pure GSD. And yes, definitely a sable!

Definately a GSD - whoever keeps making you think he isn't? Take no  notice of them! Margaret
