I have always been in favor of moderation.  I like having the forum moderated, no complaints from me on moderation.  I just think it should also be kept in check and not become personal with members.  Some mods need to stay above the fray, be the bigger person.  Otherwise, you are doing a great job!  I still do not guy hug strangers, nothing personal.  I offered knuckles,  that's all you get unless I know you really well. 

I would hug Bee though.

Like I said we have tried to do what we could without banning and at this point it just makes sense to start banning. I have to agree with all the other admins. This has been going on to long. BTW, I feel we should have every right to defend our decisions and the site when and if needed. No matter what members feelings get hurt. Members never seem to care about our feelings or what the collective membership puts us through, again, all over a dog forum.

My best advice to all is keep the moderation talking amongst yourself. The admins are really tired of it and have asked me to crack down. I have fought a lot of the cracking down but when members want to push and think they are being cute with an admin they might find themselves on the outside looking in.

Can I be a guest moderator, just to see what it's like? I'm betting the control panel looks like the cockpit of a jumbo jet.
