yeah i do a lot of similar stuff. and multi surface is vital for a lot of my urban/rural searches i do. its funny you mention that as today i started introducing variable surface on my new pups tracks. we did grass- snowpile-asphault-grass (article)-asphault(cross contamination)-concrete(article)-grass-mulch(article). He did verywell. still on gloves and flashlights and stuff for articles. as he gets more porficient i will decrease the articles size add distance, age , and difficulty. but he is only 6 weeks in or so but we will get there.

i do more than just humans, so sometimes i send my dogs out in the park next to my home and down them a few hundred yards out. or have my neighbors kids go on "adventure hikes" and such. good practice.

just never did the people watch idea. that would be useful when i dont have help.

thats a good looking boy you have.

Errrr... I just looked up the OP's dog/pedigree...  very pretty face, but not even 2 years so not OFA'ed... and the pedigree wouldn't pass most serious GSD K9 owners..

www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/635760.html

Just as you want some proof of the quality of the male, the male's owner would/should want the same of you in terms of credentials, pedigree and full genetic soundness.   I'm NOT saying your dog could not preform, but that until you have proven her in some manner most would not allow breeding.  Even those who might let no title (including police K9 titles) pass based on her genetic background... your sweetie lacks even one titled dog in 5 generations... sorry.

Enjoy her work her play with her, and see how she turns out before deciding to breed.  Loving them is not enough reason to breed them.
