Thanks again, everyone, for you continued generosity. Sponsorships from the PDB are out-pacing those from my Facebook "friends" by more than 4 to 1!

And just so that we remember the real reason for this fund-raiser, here's but one of the many dogs I've worked with over the years and eventually helped get into a forever home...

Ok,, Hope Keith won't mind,,lol,,I want to make this fun ...:)

I have two books in great condition that I was going to post for free on the database...I paid $45.00 for both...

Thanks, JaTee; every little bit helps and thank Deanna for donating the books! We've raised over $1,000.00 so far which will feed all of the animals in the shelter for over two weeks!

Today is the final day to sponsor Axel and I so if you were planning to but haven't yet, now is the time!

You didn't need to do that, Abby, but thank you so much. My total now stands at $1,370.00...a major portion of which has come from this forum. I am truly humbled by the outpouring of support. You people rock!

This is even cooler when you consider that it's really only happened in just over three days! The dog whose owner gets the most sponsors becomes the ambassador for the event the following year. Next year at this time, I'll be back to ask for your support in making a GSD that dog for 2014!

My total this morning is a whopping $1,560.00 thanks to all of my generous sponsors! If I haven't mentioned you by name yet, have no fear, I'll be recapping all of the excitement later tonight or tomorrow. Right now I've got to get ready to walk...hope this rain moves through! I actually had one more person sponsor me while I was walking which brought my grand total to $1,610.00! I ended up as the fifth largest fund raiser overall for the event thanks in no small part to everyone here at the PDB!
