Funny, Beetree. I said feel good quotes. I feel good when my dog gets it in one session, or when a puppy of mine has good eating habits and not jump through hoops from the get go to fill his belly.. It's pretty simple. Feed 'em and then work 'em later when they're little . When they have well established eating habit of devouring their food in a few seconds, then they can do some OB before the bowel is set down. No vending machines involved.

Even a chicken can hit the right keys for a bite to eat. That doesn't make them devoted to the person supplying the food.

I do not want my male scarfing down his food in a few seconds,,,I want him to enjoy his meal calmly, .:)
I want my male to give me eye contact and his attention at meal time and wait to be invited to eat. Also, he enjoys a few sits, downs and stays while waiting to be invited to his bowl. I have been too busy to incorporate the little routine and he has reminded me...If you have an issue with people who believe in "nothing in life is free" then by all means start a new thread and those who are interested will discuss it with you,,,That is not the topic here...

LMAO! Deanna, I know you remember what I said about dog training and the Internet! I'm shaking my finger at you right now (with a smile, of course). Just tell Prince if he doesn't finish his dinner like a good boy you'll send him back to that mean old Kelly. :) I miss him anyway, the moody thing.

Ok, Ruger. But if you noticed, I said I don't believe any dog should be on well fair unless he's dying... That means no freebies. Our philosophies differ, that's all. I feed to keep my dog strong and healthy so he can work for me; feeding in your camp is to get OB. As long as every body is happy and no animals are harmed in the process, who cares? Some work to eat and some eat to work ;-) I prefer eating not be related to my dog's job, they eat to work.
