A word of much learned wisdom......"be careful whose toes you step on,....they may be connected to your very own foot".....
This sport and dog world is too small,....don't make people think, that you are not "worth" knowing.....or respecting.

hi list,
once again i agree with CRHUERTA ROBIN, she knows what she is talking about, THANK YOU.ROBIN
its this simple
you are not going to learn SITAMOM by always talking like you know everything, I clearly see that you know nothing
My advise to you is to stay SILENT and look / see / hear / listen / and listen and listen and keep your opinion to
yourself and listen again, stop talking about yourself and your dog and your confusion, LISTEN title some dogs to schh3
go get a v rating with your show dog at a big event in conformation go get a breed title for worthy candidate of breeding.
This thread could have been a good one and you SITAMOM has kept it in kindergarten, and have not gone nowhere.
I would have liked to hear about breeders opinion based on pass and present experiences. i am not a breeder and
have never bred a litter, but i am around people that live this and i listen and see. My father a vet bred for many years
Dobermans with not understanding that they are working dogs, and in order to call them working dogs, they must work.

Sorry I confused the numbering system...........we use mainly OFA terms around here....if you noticed, I was consistent when using OFA terms........
BTW I edited to make the earlier comments consistent with my beliefs.....
Which are, I wouldn't but anything less then an a(1), so I wouldn't breed anything less either.....Just my inexperienced belief. People who are much more experience then I may have the knowledge to breed lower grade hips with good results......for me, I'm not trying it.
Robin, thank you for the lesson.

You should do what makes you feel comfortable........no question.
BTY...that very nice female you just purchased?.....the mother of your puppy?.......she would not exist if it weren't for the A2 dog & the A3 dog in her pedigree..........VERY prominent, known, great producers....imagine if they were not "breed worthy"?
You have my best wishes!

As a matter of fact, if I decide to breed Hanny again (in a year), I will ask an experienced breeder, such as Eurosport, who I should breed to. This is an important decision, I don't think I'm ready to make.

His Sire is OFA fair & dam was OFA mild, (Sublaxation)... but I think it was cause she was coming into heat,
I am redoing her hips, she is one of the fastest dogs I own, and can scale a 7 ft. fence in less than a second!
She is happy never in pain and always on the move, I will be having her hips redone & sending them to the SV,
I'll post her results. good or bad,
Meanwhile, here's her kid "Rollie"

If I can keep a pup that I have bred and that I know the great grand-ma, and great-grand-dad, and many other relatives,
being able to train with them side by side, and see their temperaments up close, that's what I call piece of mind,
paper can only tell you so much, but you really have to go out there & meet & greet with all the dogs you can that
are related to yours

Sorry>>>I don't have new pics of Rollie, my camera went missing, so I think it's time to go looking for a new one

He's a bit bigger, and deeper chested now! (These pics are of him at 7 weeks old, he is now 14 weeks old, and better looking than ever!!!)

Look at the whole picture, then decide what you are willing to accept at your comfort zone for risk taking.
