I agree, satelite radio is waaaaaaaaaaaay over rated.  Mine came with a year's subscription to XM/Sirrius.  At first I enjoyed the comedy stations, but  then I realized they play the same stuff over and over.  I won't renew the service at the end of the year, FM, CDs and the occasional switch to AM to find out what the hell is up with traffic,  are good enough for me - my Ntiro did come with a pretty nice sound system.

Yeah, I am NOT finding "Music Heaven" on XM.  It is good for the  French-language news...but, my French is so rusty that I don't know if it will be enough.  I do plan to go to the WUSV in Spain next year, so the Spanish-language stations might be nice.  Except...the Spanish is , well , "Spanish" Spanish, not the Western Hemisphere Spanish (and even that varies from country to country sometimes), so...  I may just invest in some nice foreing-language books on tape to make the ears practice and fine-tune.   Besides, I am one of those folks who likes to play the same song over and over and over and....

Yep, I turned an eight-passenger SUV into a two-seater!!  Hey, I bought it for ME and MY DOGS--wasn't planning on transporting anyone else, anyway!

I have owned toyota Highlanders since 2002, for the dogs, 2002, I Tboned a suburan, and the only thing I  got was a headache. when I saw the car, to get my stuff out a few days later and it folded around me like a tipee, that was it Highlanders all the way. I kept swinging around in the car and hitting it again, front, back, side. The next one 2004, the navagation system shorted, I think they  forgot to put in the plugs under the carpet, so when had it washed and they asked if I wanted the under carriage done also, got eletrical system all wet. the 2009 is not as handy for the dogs, the seats do not fold flat, they go down but not fully flat, so the crates are tilted, but this time they have a back window that  opens, and they have AIR conditioning.
