I am trying to both gear up, mentally & physically for chemo this week coming, whilst maintaining an inner calm. I find myself getting excited about going to chemo, I hate just waiting.....! But I have good days & bad days, & some other symptoms have cropped up, I'll be discussing them with the doc the day before chemo. I'm trying not to get too anxious!!
Today I'm going to get some dog grooming accomplished!

Good luck with your upcoming chemo Jackie...waiting is definitely the worst part of anything, even when it isn't something particularly nice, at least you can have at it! . BTW I think you should have a headscarf with Ansgar in a nurses uniform printed on it.

HI Jackie,
Checking in to see how you are doing. Sorry I havent checked in- my vet almost killed Casey James in a neuter gone bad. CJ looked like a mack truck ran over him, had huge hematomas and had to have an emergency surgery the day after his neuter :( Have to watch him like a hawk as he freaked in the no bite collar and e collar, and I was afraid he would bloat. Its been a 24/7 monitoring of him so he doesnt lick at himself. I hope you are doing as well as can be expected. Sending positive thoughts your way with tons of hugs. Know I am thinking of you!

Oh, poor Casey James! And poor you! What an awful thing to have happen, from as simple a surgery as a neuter! I'll keep you both in my prayers!
I'm doing OK, getting ready for another round of chemo & neulasta at the end of this week. I hope that neulasta doesn't knock me for a loop again!
