Hi there, and merry X-mas
My english is not very good but i gonna try any way because it is important to me.
I am cinn and live in the netherlands.
I have a german shepherd dog Tyson he is 3 years old. a week ago i have bought a new pup after my bernese mountain dog bailey died on okt 5. Tyson lost his best friend.
My new pup Mike is today 8 weeks old, but!!! he is very , very small...
he was only 3.7 kilo at 7 weeks old today he weighs 4.2 kilo.
He is now eating good, is playfull....
People tolde me he looks like a dwarf....i didn't know that existed....
now i'm scared..on monday i go to the vets to doe a blood test to check his Thyroid...
but telle me...honestly...do you also think he looks like a dwarf?
he does have a little strange head, short legs, his fur is fuzzy.......but that can also come from poor nutrician from the breeder? There were 8 pups and two were tiny...

He's adorable Cinn. So, he weighs approximately 9-10 lbs at 8 wks?
That could be just because he was from a large litter and didn't get a good spout. My pup weighed the same at 8 wks. and grew up just fine.
So, he may not be a dwarf, sure is a cutie though! He may be a LSC, (long stock coat) which are my favourite. All the best with your pup!

Thanx..i am worried though....but we will see...
i also had contact with tanja ( saartje in holland) she gave some information...
wednesday i get some results i hope....
but he is very sweet ...Tyson and him are already buddy's....
