I think it is more obvious you are just a little miffed about not knowing who workingdogz is...quite the mystery, I agree.

Why would I be miffed?  It isn't a reflection on me.

by beetree on 10 January 2012 - 16:01

Come on, Keith, you want to know. No one has to use their real name. Your reasons aren't used to judge my reasons. You just really, really want to know. Get in line! LOL

WORKINGDOGZ SAID:

"Actually hungerforjustice, this does in fact relate to the topic of "Who can you trust",
the breeder of your "World Class" pup has denied, or avoided numerous times when asked if she bred
her untested/no health clearance male to her SchH1 female, so yes, that relates to honesty, ergo TRUST."

HOW DARE YOU INSULT MY DOG MAHAN VON DER WILMOTHAUS IS A WORLD CLASSS DOG AND THAT NEVER HAPPENED.  LOOK UP HIS PEDIGREE.

I also did not say anything else your post addressed to me claims.  Who ARE YOU?

We simply are not playing this game anymore. We have cleaned this thread 3 times and are done. This thread is not about who a person is or why they seek to remain anonymous. It is not about any one breeder. And whether you folks like it or not is not about Jen and what she has bred. You have made your points now move on.

I do not think this thread is what the OP had in mind and why are there certain people who must stir but those same people never really contribute anything but pot stirring. You know who you are and you need to stop. Quit stirring every drama pot that is started on this site. We all see, now you need to see it or we start playing the subtraction game.

Jen
To say you don't breed for hips or titles etc. Do not know the deal with your males hips and do not care non of my business. Usually when a person states they do not breed for hips , titles etc its because they have a problems with hips in their dogs and with working ability and being able to he titled. I am not saying this about you or your dogs but when one hears these statements it makes people wonder.

Herd, I don't think you read the posts. Or at least you haven't read any of my posts, either in this thread or countless others where I have stated my philosophy on breeding. That's been covered pretty thoroughly. I just copied my answer to a similar question below.

Every other GSD litter I've bred with my current bitch was sired by a KKL1 (never a 2), V rated, A1 hips (never even bred to an A2!) SchH3 or IPO3 or both, and a certified PSD. To make an allowance for one exceptional older dog, to me, says more about what that particular dog must be than it does about someone having "problems" with their dogs' "hips or working ability". The few pups I've produced are working quite nicely, though not very old yet. Several are well on their way to various titles, we have some BHs already, a few waiting on a SchH1 (not old enough) and one has been a certified K9 with many agencies since only a year old.  Thus far, joints have been good as well. I guess it depends on how you look at it. Most people who know how picky I am just figured there must be a pretty good reason to make an exception for one dog who doesn't possess the previously mentioned official titles and gave me the benefit of the doubt because they know I stand behind my dogs 100%, so obviously, I'm pretty confident. Hope that answers your question, if it was a question. I wasn't really sure exactly how you wanted me to respond to that.

Remione, when I say I don't breed hips and I don't breed titles, I mean I look at the whole dog. I look at the dog sitting in front of me and think about it on as many levels as possible. If the best dog for what I'm looking to bring to the table is titled, fantastic. If he/she has perfect hips, fantastic as well. But to breed a dog who only has good hips and really not much else going for it doesn't make a lot of sense to me.  I'd rather have super dogs with fair hips who produce the same than have sub-par dogs with great hips who produce the same. I just try to breed the dogs with the most "pros" in that column. There are clear disqualifiers, of course, but overall, you look at the *whole* picture of each DOG and what they bring to the table as opposed to sitting at the kitchen table with pedigrees in one hand and hip xrays in another. Having staunch "rules" in breeding will often make you cut off your nose to spite your face.  Have a plan and a goal, and use the dogs who best fit that. Don't sacrifice a great dog w/fair or NZ hips or no sport titles or a G rating, etc. in favor of an OFA excellent dog who is titled but has horrible temperament. Make sense? Hope you understand what I meant now.

I trust Carol Hudson of Watcher Engel kennels.  When I was looking for a shepherd I did a TON of research on pedigrees and found the right combo of a particular breeding she was doing that I loved.  She was honest from the first day...her and I still talk everyday and I have made a second mother out of her...lol.  She is the first "dog person" and last that I have met that is always honest and is a genuine person.  They are rare...she is one of them.

This is some of what Jen @Vom Eisenherz produces.  If you like it great, if not then there are other wonderful breeders mentioned also one could contact.  I trust her completely and plan on getting another pup from her in the future or at least having her guide me in finding another one.  I think each litter has been awesome and no buyer was misinformed or lied to.

Here is the pedigree, if you can find better then great for you.  But it is top notch.  If some breeders don't like her then they don't need to buy a pup from her.

Awesome pic Nadeem, and I can vouch for how well Bravo is doing in Sch H, as I seem him working just about every Saturday. For such a young dog, he is proving himself as one of the top dogs in our club, and there are some very nice dogs. Keep up the good work you two.  Take Care  Pete
