Don't think anyone's being 'smug'.   But I too beg to disagree:

I also see a moving dog, caught mid-turn;  and yes he's clearly

used his foot.  But  from the 'muscle-language' in that leg and

the way the bodys weight is deployed, I would guess he has

got something wrong with that leg, probably in the knee area.

Arthritis ?  Cruciate ?

Breeders like this.........are the inevitable consequence of papers being sold by a breed organization which requires no more than parents being of the same breed with papers.

Student, I have to disagree there...the female of mine was sold w/o AKC....precisely for this reason. She was bred, AFTER this dirtbag contacted me, trying to get her papers.

I found her ad, adverting these pups as AKC ....I turned her in to AKC on that.

She in now in the process of rehoming many of her dogs, selling them and keeping the breeding rights, selling the females pregnant, and demanding the puppies back at 8 weeks.

My female was sold again, pregnant again, by this male...I have been trying for two years to get her back, this spiteful beotch wouldn t sell her back to me.

The guy that bought her now has been in contact with me, he seems to be an alright guy. I told him do not dare give them pups to her. I have the original contrzct, no breeding rights....some people don t care.

I once removed someones pups from their kitchen,  after they did this same thing, and gave them away.

I have very strict rules on breeding...my dogs. DON'T....unless you are breeding up...don t do it.

For the most part, i have been lucky where my pups went. My biggest problems came from breeders...GREEDERS....Those that want to throw any who together.

The picture of the dog, was put to demonstrate the ridicules idea in this womans head, that the picture presented shows a happy, healthy dog. WHO WOULD PUT THAT PICTURE ON THEIR WEBSITE???

DIRTBAGS...THAT S WHO.

I M charging up my other tablet that i can post links....if it wasn t so pathetic that this is what so many find acceptable, i would be giving a few people a good laugh today.

SHE runs a rescue....I kid you none....

She takes in dogs, cats and horses....than comes on Facebook begging for help...as she is breeding the shit out of these German Shepherds.

The TOWN is in the process of stopping her. She has some very gullable...no, STUPID supporters....when I see peoples comments that they can t wait to buy one of her well bred shepherds....it just does show how this kind of shit breeder flourishes.

Sound like a true example of an evil person... why are people stupid enough to defend her?! The shepherd in the picture looks beautiful beneath the muck and his obvious pain... why have people like this been allowed to breed/ 'rescue' animals... it makes me sick!!

Joni, I'm sorry about your female. I understand this must be extremely stressful for you. I guess it's a danger any time you breed. Sad Smile

JRANSOM, not at all sure what the heck your sudden problem is with me, but I really don't care to concern myself with it. I guess if you disagree you should just not post for fear of appearing smug? Are those the new rules? Joni posted the pic to show that the dogs are not kept up very well- I don't think even she was alleging he has/had 2 bad limbs like a few suggested.

I see a matted dog, badly in need of a grooming,  nowhere near breeding quality, who may or may not have a sore limb, and it's a JOKE of an "advertisement" photo. I agree with Joni; who the heck posts THAT as the dog's "good" pic? I would certainly not want any of mine associated with this "breeding program" and I fully understand her anger.

Whether the dog may or may not be arthritic is really getting beyond the scope of what can be deduced from ONE still pic, mid-move, on an internet forum. That was my entire point; imo, it cannot be deduced that he is "lame" from this pic, especially with the raised paws BLURRY, as in movement.

Is this dog lame? Look at 2nd pic; is that not a similar situation with the paws, albeit head it turned opposite direction? These are all I could find because I typically delete the hundreds of "outtakes" immediately.

When trying to make a point, sticking to the issues is more effective than exaggerating them. When you make allegations that cannot fairly be made from a single photo alone, you discredit yourselves and potentially give the other person a leg up they don't deserve. That was the purpose of my post. Had nothing to do with being "smug" or whatever else I was branded. LOL

You got it right jenn...I was not trying to insinuate the dog is hurting ,lame, ( the lameness is on the breeder)etc.,
WHO in their right mind would put a pic like that on their webpage?
I have the added knowledge of the dogs pedigree, plus the fact she is breeding dogs that SHE KNOWS was not intended to be bred. She claims to be breeder of quality German Shepherds, but has no regard for her dogs or the terms of other breeders contracts.
We all get pics that show the dogs...and people...in unfavorable shots. You pass that picture by, and either take another, or just don t share it.
This woman uses dogs to no end. Even when she is getting pushed into getting them out of the bad conditions they are in, she hanging on to breeding rights, selling them pregnant, and taking back the puppies.
It s disturbing she finds that picture acceptable representation of his stud qualities...his pedigree full of "unknowns"
If this is acceptable look to advertise, what is the hidden look like. I DON'T WANT ANY DOG FROM ME, BEING KEPT LIKE THIS AND THIS KIND OF BREEDING PROGRAM.
This just goes to show why so many crappy breeders keep on rolling. The 'general ph lic' is very stupid when it comes to dogs. Anyone with half the sense of right and wrong would know this kind of crap is unacceptable.
What kind of people buy their dogs upon this kind of representation.
Did I go to a different school than these people. Do I have the wrong definition of quality? How about quality 'of life'...

by Lexi the Lookers mummy on 29 March 2015 - 17:03

To me the carriage of the paw of the dog on the advertising photo looks as if the dog is sore, however in Jenns picture they are quite obviously in mid movement... poor dog lets hope she gets shut down and you get your beautiful girl back
