Sounds like somebody in Germany was having a bad day??  I would not worry about it too much .. from what I can tell elbow scores are neither heritable or predictive unlessthe dog has a fault in the movement and structure of the elbow bones which could cause the score.  If there is not a history of "observed" elbow problems in your dog's bloodline it is likely not a dominant heritable trait.  Every human being walking around has many genetic traits that are present but silenced.  If it was not for gene silencing and variable expression of genes none of us would ever get born which is a sobering thought if we consider the barrage of novel and unknown chemical compounds we are exposed to that our ancestors never experienced.

Normal. Appearance of shallower socket due to position of pelvis, slight tilt. Elbows normal. Congrats.

I would give the hips a fair as the sockets are too shallow.

Here's a set of good hips for comparison:

The hips look normal to me. They would get an OFA fair to good.

That's the odd thing VTGSD, i didn't recevied the report, just the pedigree with the stamp for HD, ED and DNA...

Weird. Usually they include a copy of all the completed papers. I have only used WDA and this has been the case, is that who you went through? If not wonder if USCA does it different?

I think I see why they said NZ on elbows. Had to download image and zoom in, but I see it. Osteophyte on left.

A3 is passing. Don't sweat it.

Bubba, I agree to a certain degree. I would say abnormal, truly abnormal elbows are heritable, but NZ or from OFA, Grade 1 DJD are not elbow grades I would worry about from a heritability standpoint.

Just received the reports by e-mail.
ED Right: Normal / ED Left: Noch Zegulassen

Yep, like I said...osteophyte on left. Wink Smile Don't sweat it. Breed to normal elbows if you're going to breed.
