Limited registration until h/e pass cirtifcation at 24 months, but only 18 month guarantee/warranty for h/e.......What?

i would go to some of the high performing breeders in the US and ask for a pup that is at the lower end of the spectrum/wash out, ie not considered a prospect due to natural variation present in all litters but still super well bred.

hell unlikely i would actually buy a puppy again anyway, too much risk in even the best of breedings. if you are serios about getting a good dog, then get a young started one.

puppies are annoying.

no decent breeder will ever sell a guy with yr experience a top prospect, if they do they are not top breeders.

I am located north of Denton. Not a breeder but have been doing sport in the area for several years. You can pm me or call me. I have an imported male from Czech who may be bred next year. Titled. Donna 214 282 9131

I spoke to Melinda before from weberhaus and she was very nice and straight forward when you ask her about what you need.  She works her dogs and not sure how north she is from you.

I ended up going with a closer breeder to my state.  I got lucky w/ my pup and put full trust in the breeder by via phone.  So far the dog is everything I wanted.  So though VK has good points I did roll the dice based on research and my "gut". OFA certs, they work their dogs and don't pay others to title them, they keep dogs behind from past litters, and would tell you no if it's not a good fit are things I looked for

But how much breeder support after the sale? Support from the breeder with training questions, care, health issues, etc? There is more to it than just get a puppy from a kennel.

Great point, if you go with an import watch for the language barrier.  Joan you're one of few breeders I found that provides that support.  I gained knowledge from you regardless of me going with an import

Since the breeding your looking at involves Schraderhaus dogs... try also contacting Jean Schrader at Schraderhaus K9.  She is in Washington state.  We have 2 males from her and she has some really nice dogs and is very helpful after the sale to answer questions, hip gaurantees, etc.
