There was a topic on Iltis a few months back. Is that the one that was deleted? I commented on that thread, I remember.

Looks like that one must have been deleted. Here's a post from 3 years ago that might be of interest, though:

From what I've heard and seen, it sounds like Iltis produced nice puppies out of nice females. There are kids of his doing schutzhund (or who were titled in schutzhund) in the US--which can't be said for an all too many imported stud dogs. (Although, I think that has to do as much or more about the buyers of the puppies and the small opportunity/desire to do the sport and title in it here in the US as with the quality of the stud dog.)

Thanks for posting the link. Its very helpful. I am learning that for every positive there is a negative.

My post was edited by admin.  Not sure what TOS I broke. Would be nice to know so I don't make the same mistake.

What happened to not discussing PMs publicly!? Yes I did say that to admin! As I have said it to you! It's ridiculous how yall pick and choose to run things! My comments are getting deleted. The ones that are being deleted are pointing things out about how admins are being hypocrits about "fussing" someone for doing something when they do the same in the next breath! I mean seriously an admin can go and edit anyone's comment!!! Isn't that like putting words into someone's mouth!?

Welcome to the world of FREE internet forums. When it's your forum, you do what you want. Not exactly breaking news that admins can edit posts.

I don't understand why people who dislike something so intensely that they feel the need to use profanity toward site admins don't simply leave. I really don't get it. I've never been so compelled to stay somewhere that I hated so much, while simultaneously sending profane messages to those who run the show. It's an internet forum...hardly worth behind the scenes fights and dramas. Shut the computer off if you can't handle it.

No it is not breaking news that admins can edit post. Its been done and will continue to be done as long as there is a difference in opinions.  You are right, their forum they have the right to do what they want. But seems a forum owner/admin would want to set good examples for their members by following the same rules they expect the members to follow. But than again, maybe not! Its kinda a "Do I as say, and not as I do" situation.  Its all good though!

No worries, that entire comment will soon be deleted, this one will probably be edited and all will be good.  Wink Smile

Roll eyes

I have a dog with IItis in her pedigree. If you would like to see what she loks like do a search on Gobles Sonar vom Shipwreck. They are full brother and sister. Weak nerves, nope note a bit. Very social until she thinks you are a threat then ALL of the socialness goes away. Loves to play and usually  carries something in her mouth. Very good with other dogs, best friends with our new Chihuahua puppy. Doesn't care a whole lot for cats, rabbits, cows, deer, squirrels or basically anything she can chase. Medium drive, great nose, obedience could be a bit better (probably my fault), likes to do bite work although we haven't  done a whole lot of it. There are three things that I concider faults with her. I would like to see her bit a little bit harder, probably my fault with over socialization (we have a lot of kids in the neighborhod). Her natural suspicion could be higher, again most likely my fault from over socialization. The third thing, and it bugs me more than anything else, she whines "Allot" when she isn't doing something. So I guess you could say that her faults are mostly caused by her handler.
