Saturday is day 63 from the first day the stud had access to her.. Personally, I don't think she will pop before then. She's not showing any slackening around her vulva yet, it's still quite tight. Things aren't in place yet because we were ASSUMING she didn't take until the A.I. was done, as there was no tie with the stud! Also, Kellie was in the E.R. on Wednesday with abdominal pain, so a few details have not been looked after yet! 
Right now, I am hoping I don't wind up being the one to help whelp the litter. Kellie is still not feeling well, and I am starting to wonder if she may have a hot appendix! Meanwhile, I have a kennel to run, and customers and dogs coming and going!!

Have you been taking her temperature? I found that to be a great indicator.
Those little critters will make all the stress worthwhile.

ZweiGSd, the bitch is not at my place, or i would have. Kellie hasn't mentioned the temp, but I will ask if she's been doing it.
Oh, and as far as being off her food goes? Last night, she scarfed down her own dinner, helped herself to the other bitch's leftovers, THEN stole some Shepherd's pie off her human's plate!

Just got back from driving Kellie to the E.R. She's in agony!
She says her husband is capable of whelping the litter if she can't do it. 
We now have a kiddie pool for a whelping box, and I gave Kellie my dog thermometer, as she lost hers in a fire last year.
So, things are pretty much in place, and I am only about 20 or 30 minuites away, if help is needed.
Bella was full of piss and vinegar tonight. I wanted to put my stethescope on her belly to listen for heart beats, but she wouldn't stand still! Only change I noticed was her vulva was a bit larger.

Good luck to all! sounds like you will be the Midwife in this situation..hope they are good healthy puppies.
