Actually Paula, you have already gave this woman 'more thought' than I would have...lol
    Now I would simply send her back an e mail telling her you have nothing that fits her needs at this time,(or any time)

When I was re-homing that litter for a friend, I had a lot of strange e-mails. I either didn't reply or said "Thanks I'll keep you in mind!" and just never wrote them back. If they happened to write back, I'd just say that they all had homes.

I ditto Dawulfs response. Short and to the point, but not rude.

She's Back........What Smile

Hello my name is Nancy

I would like to inquire some information about about yourbreeding program and about your German shepherds. I was also wondering if some one could tell me what the process was in order to be considered as a potential adopter/ buyer. I was also wondering if you had  or new of any pups that are a little older for example 8 weeks to 10 months.     If some one would be kind enough to email me back that would be great   Thank you

You are in for a long haul. When in doubt never answer back, now they know this is a working email. I ignore these and eventually they quit showing up in my inbox. Good luck.

Delete, delete, delete. Almost every dog breeder alive runs into this more than once. If you have a website or advertise on the net or in a local newspaper, it's par for the course.

"my breeding dogs are titled, hip/elbow certified, they have show titles and also breed surveys. they go to a club practice every week where they are worked with a trainer. they get high quality food and numerous chew toys. they also get the best in veterinary care.
when decide to breed, its becasue i want to improve the breed, per the breed standard, and becasue i'm hoping for my next pup to train and show and includ into my breeding program. i guarantee my puppies, i'm always available to help if a problem ariaes, i have a training club to help puppy owners learn to handle their puppies, and will take them back no questions back. at 1400 i am actually loosing money with every litter! if you're looking for a cheap puppy, then go find a back yard breeder who does none of this. you get what you pay for."

this works every time, they either leave me alone, or want to learn it takes to breed quality puppies.

I know I agreed with Admin's post, to ignore such approaches - on the

grounds that then scammers know your email addy is genuine & working ;

BUT anybody who is determined to reply ought to use SitasMoms method,

as it is brilliant.

Oh for the old days when 'all' puppy enquiries were by phone.

PS  Hey Hexe, how're you doing ?
