doesn't a6 mean they were done in another country. not they are good or bad, just not SV.

A6: Dog's hips rated in a foreign country approved by the SV.
by joanro on 09 November 2012 - 15:11
How does A6 equate with..let's say, OFA rating ? And what foreign country does A6 rating come from?
by stary_eyed_angel on 09 November 2012 - 15:11
Any foreign country approved by the SV and they could be perfect or horrid. All it means is that they were done and through someone the SV approves. You'd have to ask to see the results on the original certificate to know what the dog actually got.

Then the SV approval is not for the score or quality of the hips, but for the country doing the rating ?

Wrong, wrong, wrong--'A6' hips CANNOT be 'horrid'. 'A6' means the dog has received a passing rating from an orthopedic evaluation organization recognized by the SV. The worst the hips can be would be OFA Fair.

.........the bitch may be spanish, but ALL GSD dogs started in germany, so if the spanish didnt fuck up the breed like america, then whats the difference, according to that logic once u import a dog to the states it becomes an american line
Sorry Mario -- i forget that English is not your first language.
I remain quite confused as to how this breeding took place with the sire in the US since sometime in 2011.. But I'm sure you can explain.
So this "breeder" (nameless kennel) knows Frau Dorssen -- whos name you readily dropped twice I believe. so that makes him a good person to buy a puppy from. Okay ----- "according to that logic" -- i know Marion Fuller -- wanna buy a puppy from me????
And I'm wondering whether you will put your puppy in THIS database -- because that will surely give up his kennel name.
and what is the linebreeding on this puppy?
