she's 4 months, yes i dont plan on  havein her xrayed, again, shes been done once, i don plan on waiting 2.5-3 years b4 breeding.............

I KNOW IM ABOUT TO OPEN A CAN OF WORMS BUT...............
y r ppl in the states (and germany though les over here) so damn worried about the show achievements of the parents. i based my shopping decisions based (though my dogs father di rather well) parents health and temperment, and of my puppies health and temperment, when i went 2 c litter @ 7 weeks.......point being u could breed 2 championship dogs (especially in america where breeding criteria is vertually non existant) that where best in their litter but come from mangled POS bloodlines and produce dogs wit HD/temperment issues RIGHT.......id rather have a Good dog from parent who never ever seen a ring, than some mangled mess from #? @ some show..............Agree Disagree..........what do yall think???

When you breed dogs it should be for the betterment of the breed.

Hip/Elbow X-rays really don't mean a damn thing until the dog is fully grown - SO much can happen between now and then. Breeders who don't x-ray and breed for the betterment of the breed are where those 'mangled POS bloodlines' come from! Shelters are FULL of good dogs everywhere who are euthanized daily... why do you want to add to that?

i dont want to and would not add to that, im talkin about the industry setting it up so that the consumer values the wrong things and feels like (your (health great tempermented dog) aint worth anything cause parents arent titled) while kennel vom Whateva the hell is flooding the world with (badly imbred, unhealth tempermentaly wacko dogs because he wants to keep "the look") that have titled parents

Thumbs DownThumbs DownThumbs Down

You are without ethics

And no I am NOT living in the USA so don't try to use that as an excuse.

Actually I think you are a troll, only looking to make trouble !!!!

naw im not a troll, (@ least i dont think so, dont even really know what that is, other than a gobblin the lives under bridges and eats ppl, hope thats not what u meant) just asked a question, but OK. Ive been doing A TON of research over the past couple years since this is something ima do, and wanted to talk 2 some actual ppl rather than reading, and getting breeders 1 sided opinions, (understandable breeders push their stock)
Really just trying to bring my limited knowledge to the table to spark convo so i can improve apon it, but if thats to much for u i understand, no luv lost.
Dog trainer, i came from Atl Ga USA, im now in Rhienland Pfalz Germany
y u ask?

supakamario

by supakamario on 03 October 2012 - 10:10

im wothout ethics, interesting, what makes u say that, because if u read wat i posted, it seems like i have ethics and dont wanna fuck ppl over, by spending time training/showing my dog and boosting the price based on that, selling trained garbage, y r u so hostile, i dont internet fight so if thats what YOUR looking 4 ill pass

Sorry if I´m wrong, but your spelling looks Asian, not American...

What kind of dog trainer are you?
Your female is out of pure German showline dogs...are you aware of this?
In Rheinland Pfalz there are LOTS of German Shepherd clubs and a LOT of breeders.
Where are you located/your base?
Why don´t you join a club or two and look at the dogs by yourself?
As a dog trainer you should be able to see the quality of the dogs.
The clubs are always glad to welcome a trainer and share experiences...

Kind regards from Germany

I am a NEW trainer, and when i say trainer, im talking dog obedience, not schutzhund not showdog. im actually going to a club meeting 2day in ramstein.

im in k-town, where germans dont really wanna deal wit americans due to the fact that soldier buy dogs and arent into them then ets/pcs/tdy, and through them on Ramsteinyardsales.com, or they go (the young ones) downtown, get pissy drunk and act up givin us all a bad name
some ppl have been wlling to help but i dont know german, and the ppl that i know that know is work, i do not work, i play paintball, and study these wonderful dogs 9 hrs a day

my typin looks asian cause for years i did tier 2 isp support so whenever i was on a computer it was to assist teir one guys wit issues and we typed this way to make it faster......if u care enough to and read somethin typed its just good ole georgia country, .......we typed how we talk, its much fast....sorry if it offends anyone

and does anyone know any good eastern/western lines that i can look for

im very skeptical of ppl so i want to get a base knowledge from here, go to some clubs, talk to some breeders..........i dont believe anything ppl tell me until ive heard the same thing consistantly from many diff avenues from ppl who dont stand to gain or loos from the info they provided me wit
