"massaging it with Moroccan Argon oil!"   LOL Hexe
Jenni, I just figured it's part of the little bloopers that've been happening while Oli is working on the site.  When I started the thread it just popped up on the board before I even added content to my first post, so I had to go in and "edit" the first post.  lol
I've seen the pics of Capri, she's gorgeous and in great condition, looks younger than she is.
Both my Bella and my dad's Benjamin are 4 yrs old, yet can easily be mistaken for 2yrs.   I'm sad to say though that Urman is looking his age (8+yrs) partly because his muzzle is greying (he's always had a little bit of grey, even when he was a youngster.)

BTW...is anyone else's home experiencing a hairy blizzard right now?  3 of our GSDs are blowing coat, I'm sure the rest are soon the follow.  Our vacuum cleaner is going to need therapy.  Confused Smile

Actually, Hexe, I'm fresh out of Argon oil. Must be the Ol' Roy.

Euro, some dogs have that gray; Capri has always had the same amount of gray just under her chin and I bought her when she was just a year and a half old- certainly not age-related. So, don't torment yourself.

I like her and understand why you'd want to buy her. She looks just a little sad, no? That's what I meant when I said breeding alone doesn't do that to a dog...

Euro, I think you should get her. She appears to be looking for you! ;-) Theresa

Agreed!

Sad Smile  I really, really wish I could!  But even if she was free (because I don't have $2,500 to buy her) I still couldn't get her, dad would have his final heart attack if we added another dog to this household and it will be months (who knows how many?) before I can move to my mother's new farm.
I feel like I'm in the same boat with Marjorie now :(  missing our babies!

Jenni, yes...she looks a little sad, I think she looks pensive, maybe a little weary and resigned?  I just want to hug her.

She's in Virginia, not New England.

Euro - she's a pretty girl! Have to say though, I was expecting her to be more like 10-11 too. She does look a bit sad and I agree - you should get her. :)

Jen... Capri looks great! Love that dog!!

Yes, when I saw that ad I got all misty eyed, too, & that's exactly what I said, I want her! I don't have $2500.00 either. And I have a complicated situation with Kali's daughters & Beckett, introducing another, more senior female simply would not fly. I had to rethink the pup I wanted, **sigh**. I felt badly about that, like I had led Vonissk on....!But I guess I'm still seeing Kali in every ad, & this girl has that certain substantial, slightly world weary look that Kali sometimes had.....I really would like to at least hug her once, see if she would lean into me the way my girl did....damn I miss her so!
Slightly lighter, yes Beckett is having his own personal fur-nado! I guess the girls will soon join in.
Yes, that is one lovely lady, I hope she finds someone to love her. jackie harris
