WOW, you are so lucky that Lowes allows you to do that. When we took out 3month old pup to our Lowes, I let them know we were bringing him in. She told me no problems long as I kept him in a buggy. When we rolled in with him, she met me at the door screaming, "You didn't say it was a 3mo old wolf puppy!" He was a bi-color. Can you imagine had he been a sable. I had to promise her he would stay in the buggy, which he did, and he enjoyed it.. We have not been back there again, but plan on trying it again.
Seems like you maybe heading in a personal protection training direction. Over the top drive is not necessary for that type of training. Actually I like a more medium to high drive for that kind of training. If I have a dog with high or over the top drive, I consider that the drive for sport or sch. No matter what, as long as you give your guy a job, I am sure he will be happy, as you will also. Good luck with him and keep us updated.

kpododul thanks. Unfortunately I don't get many running shots like that. They take off running to play and Auggie chases....Auggie is way faster than any of my dogs already. I could not imagine trying to outrun him. He catches up to them in a second or two at the most and then it just ends in "play fighting" so to speak and no more running. The Huskies like to just run, run, run when they play.
