I think it is fake ad.

I think the tip was made up and a part of the  Feeble people who ride it to always   FLAG ads for animals or pets

" SICK! People who put animals on craigslist should never be allowed to own an animal again :(   stated by Marjorie??????????????????????????? "
    REALLY..

I have two rescue pups advertised on CRAIGSLIST as they ware Abandoned at Lake TYLER>>

SO am I a crook and a SICKO>...I believe not...SOME Of you got your panties in a WAD that have little experience in how the world operates.

If you would like to pay for the Newpaper to run my ad...send the money to  me asap.

I have two pups   black 4 mo old pups that I just spent 44.00 on two shots and wormer for to make sure they are not infected and another   10.00 of flea , tick spray and a dose of my flea drops that are about 16.00 a tube..

SO  now , do you still think some of us who use Craigslist as SICKOS>>>GO AHEAD  post your real name before I call the SO where you life and report you as NUTS.

YEs you just ticked me off big time..  We have brought  3 abandoned pups home in a 4 week period.
And I take as much time placing them as you paid  BACK YARD PDB posters...

DO you want to pay my expenses?  THEN  do not judge others unless YOU can do better.  I will put them on a dog carrier COD to you and you place them and find a home ...FREE puppies are not always from Breeders...SO do some research before you make stupid statements.

FREE BLACK FEMALE PUPS ABANDONED ,

WORMED, WITH SHOTS...ID REQUIRED, NO BUNCHERS,

 CALL    (&(&)__*_()(*&&^

A nice lady was feeding these pups so some pics from her ad are added to this ad.

Clean the path at your own front door before you go snooping to clean others ...

I wish I had not even logged on tonight...HAPPY BIRTHDAY  YELLOWROSE>>  from the pdb...nice ending to kindness from dog people.  Watch what you say on the database, it may come back to slap you in your face.

I have a plaque in my house that says..

THE longer I am around people the more I love my GERMAN SHEPHERDS

We have free advertisng in UK too and I have used it a lot in the past for rehoming rescues, response has been no different from paid advertising, you have to vet the buyers just the same.

Have to say I would be wary of offering any animal free to a good home though, whichever advertising medium I was using, but if you are vetting the homes and are experienced enough to have "gut feeling", the only problem you are likely to get is increased response and thus more time and mental energy rejecting the no chancers, the dog should still end up in the right home at the end of the day.

Yes, I stand by my position that animals do not belong on craigslist. You can get as angry at me as you want to, but that is my story and I am sticking to it. Hell would freeze over and I would still maintain that position. Sadly, the human race cannot be trusted. I also work in rescue and know the terrible things people do to animals. Putting dogs on craigslist is like offering candy to a baby- its a hunting ground for animal abusers and researchers. Not long ago there was a person who put ads in every craiglist across the country, looking for dogs. You think that was to provide a good home? Unless the person had their very own planet to colonize, what the hell do you think was going to happen to those animals??????? I do not apologize for my strong beliefs- they are mine and I would never put an animal on craigslist. There are enough animals already on there, and I aint talking bout the furry ones. Just ask the girls who ended up dead on LI, by the ocean near where I live,  from the serial killer who has not yet been caught, who met their killers on craigslist.

Yellow rose ,You are way out of line attacking me personally and calling me stupid. Sickos described people who do horrible things to animals and it was meant in that context. Perhaps a reading comprehension course is in order. You are the epitome of what is wrong with people.

Yes, craigslist and the internet in general has a percentage of predators and evil doers of various flavors and intentions.  One can only do what one can in order to avoid them.

Although it is one's individual choice to refrain from pet placement on craigslist, there is still a degree of validity within this particular venue to possibly find a decent home for an otherwise unwanted pet.

If in fact there are instances of animal abuse, it is our collectively responsibility to report it to authorities immediately.

I too hope that is a fake ad by a sick person.  I would rather have those type of sick people than the type in the ad.

(I kept any other side comments about Craigslist to myself.   Any good, intellengent person can use the site as it is intended and get good things)

The new puppies thank you a million YR for your kind heart.  I have to be very careful about looking around on pet ads; I will want to bring them all home.

Ok.. Yellowrose.. properly spanked received!! you are correct.. wrong to 'ASSume'  .. just hits a nerve when you think of something like this happens.. you cant fix stupid and I tend to get a bit more passionate for animals than people ! (sad maybe)  but.. nontheless ... I have never even looked on craigslist at animals.. because there are so many sad ads for horses that have pictures of them starving and I cant save them all .. anyway.. rambling... thanks YR  keeping me grounded on comments !

It does not matter if the ad is real or not. Do not ever give away  a dog "free to good home"!!! I have heard of "grand pa" with grandchildren getting free dogs which ended as pitbull training objects for fighting pitbulls. Same with kittens and pups who may end up as feeder for a snake, ritual killing/sacrifice or who know what.
If I would want  to give a dog away then I would attach a price of $100-$200 to keep the riffraff and then when someone comes give the dog away for free. I have done that with several dogs which I have rescue along the highway and such.

I 100% agree with Prager.
if people want a pet, $$100-200 wouldnt be a problem then, but if ppl can NOT afford $$100-200 - they should not have this dog then, cause as we know to keep a Dog, cat etc cost some money, I would not even bother to give away. I dont think you save this animals for ppl who can not afford them
it is only my opinion.
