Hmmm, I now feel the need to go and buy a pair of shoes. I had been looking at the Bogs boots but didn't know they had shoe verstions too. they are like modern ducky boots.
Hope your day gets better. I had a flashback to a similar experience while walking two of my old boys years and years ago. I laugh now, but it wasn't too funny when it happened.

wow, I feel for you, that was a crappy morning!
I've had people inquire about stud service too, but none so rude as that!
I've never heard of Bogs, but I think I'm in love already! they look pretty cool!
I've also known extremely aggressive/territorial cats. My first cat was this kind. My parents got her as a Christmas gift to me when I was 3 years old. She was my buddy, but she was very weird around other animals. Wanted to kill every other cat and dog she saw, yet she was terrified of rabbits and totally submissive to my pet budgies. I remember once when we took her to the vets, I was holding her in my lap (no leash or crate, only my hands to restrain her) when a german shepherd came out of one of the exam rooms, it's owner was paying the bill and not paying attention to the dog, the dog came up to me and my cat, very curious and friendly like, and my cat went kamikaze on the poor dog, it had to go back into the exam room to get patched up. (my cat scratched and bit it's nose/muzzle) I felt bad for the dog, and in retrospect I'm very glad the dog didn't react aggressively to my cat and I. I think it was probably traumatized.

LOL@Jennifer! No, fortunately, my morning has nothing to do with Brynjulf's thread (if you haven't read it, it's still a hoot!).
I love Bogs Rue shoes (yes, I sound like an infomercial). I wear them all year round for dog walking- they are actually comfortable (unlike many waterproof shoes) and good in the mud and snow. More importantly, they come in fun colours! I think Beetree has a pair too. :)
