Well if he went to the VA for help he probably is still on the waiting list!  One year for 100% service connected disabled to even GET an appointment in dental.  Some meds not even available PERIOD (too expensive, like Maxhalt for migraines).  Try to get the main number at any VA hospital to even ANSWER the phone.  No choice in your doctor so even if you can get in if they are not competent or you want a second opinion, tough S@#^$!  Try to buy insurance after returning injured..HA.  It is going to get worse, much worse.  Come back after 4 or 5 tours and need help and see how much worse it gets.  They just had a single mother shot by police after a chase who had PTSD.  It is women and men this time.

Thanks, I didn't read the comments section. A drunk guy with 2 pool sticks and a dog on him. Wish there was a better way of putting him in cuffs but we don't know the whole story.

Sorry about the dog and more sorry about the deceased.  Sounds like they could have taken him alive.  I'm sure a tazer would have been effective in this situation.
