News to me abby, just to put the reccord straight I have never bred or owned a dwarf.
Thank you very much Mr Darcy for correcting abbys mistake, nice to know we have someone on the ball watching over us.

Sorry Tigermouse, I was thinking Tig, and it became Tig...ermouse. Brain malfunction LOL.

So, how is Nemo doing?

by freecalkid on 07 January 2012 - 19:01

Not to speak for Tig but when I spoke with her Nemo was still doing quite well!   She was very helpful about supplements and care of my Little Tiny Tim Tebow!

Glad to hear the old fellow is in good health! Given what a long life he's had, Tig must certainly know how to keep dwarves healthy, so you and Tebow are in good hands!

I am seeing energy changes in my Tebow.   I spoke with Tig and she gave me some ideas.   I started off with CoQ10 which was added to the Fish Oil he already was getting.   I have now added Vitamin E as of yesterday.

I believe the CoQ10 is giving him a new lease on life...  he is so peppy and energetic today.. maybe he is just getting really comfortable with us, but I think there is a new pep in his step.   He eats raw - beef this week with liver as a light snack in the afternoon.   Last week it was chicken with chicken hearts as his snack.   I also ordered products Tig told me about and will get those in the next week or so and will then change the vitamin regimen.  He is on Gold Meal made from seaweeds, and I see it as a quality supplement, but I wonder if the new stuff from Springtime will be better.. it seems to address his dwarf issues better.

Tig's Nemo certainly HAS done well on these so it is worth a try.   I see some structural areas that need the glucosamine... his feet are huge but the joint above is very lumpy and seems to be an area of interest in his licking habit there.   We just about have the licking stopped and I am sure his little joints need attention.   The new supplements will address that.

This is a work in progress but I really appreciate the help ... we are getting there.   He's been here less than a month and is very much at home.

By the way, last night he had crushed (cooked from frozen state) peas... he was looking for them and passing up the ground beef!

I have a bottle of about 750 x 0.1 mg of Thyroxine L/levothyroxine tabs, expiration date 4/12. If anyone with a dwarf can use them, PM me here.
