Thank you to each and everyone who responded. Jan you are such a good friend. i wondered why I didn't hear from you, but I know your plate is running over too. Yes, I am probably part at least, if not all of my own problem. I know I do what is considered a no-no. I think of my kitty and my puppy as people, not animals. Red I know where you're coming from and you are right. Hans is right too. I put myself in their place of eating the same thing everyday. I'm nuts. He eats 2 times a day, probably 12 hr in between. He eats on our schedule. I want him to eat like Jan told me to but he acts as if he's never eat raw altho we were told he did. She also give us a 40# bag of the good Purina but he never ate the first nugget with us. yes, he's probably playing us. He knows how much we love him. And he will not crunch on a raw bone. He acts like hes never seen raw chicken on the bone. What I've been doing is I buy stew meat or roast and cut it. I sear it in hot olive oil and a little salt. I used to do the same with black angus hamburger but he won't eat hamburger anymore. The vet weighed himthe last time and he weighed 77 # but thats been over a month ago easy. He does have a waist. Glenn does walk him now Jan and we do play with him quite a bit altho I'm sure not enough. I hope I answered it all. Take care Jan and all of you. Peggy P.S. I wanted to ask, about how much is a good amount for him to eat in raw or seared meat, like 1-2 lbs a day? he will eat a small amout of TOTW but not everyday. Thanks

dogs that are picky eaters only gets worse if we humans baby them
give him his food and if he has not eaten in less than 10 minutes take the food away and give him his food the next day and continue this until he eats and he will eat , no dogs starve them selfes but they will gladly
fast a week if they know humans are week and gives them something else
