Seby: Alf is in Quanto's male bloodline - more precisely: Condor (Quanto's father) vom Zollgrenzschutz Haus' mother is Carmen vom Sixtberg. Alf vom Nordfelsen was her grandfather, or Condor's great-grandfather. To have a linebreeding of 4 -5.5 the ancestor has to be on both sides of the pedigree (male and female lines).

TingiesandTails,
When you talk about male bloodline you look only at father, grandfather, great grandfather and so on relationship. That is how SV describes bloodlines and evaluate progeny group.
Of course you need it on both sides for linebreeding, but it is not a bloodline.
For example:
Hill Farbenspiel paternal grandmother (Xtra von Arlett) goes back to Quanto Wienerau but Hill is not a representative of Quanto bloodline.
He belongs to II bloodline-Mutz and specifically IIa-Cello Romerau.
Take a look at Nando Gollerweiher. His paternal grandmother (Pia St.M-B) goes back to Mutz but Nando is a representative of I bloodline-Canto Wienerau, Ia-Fedor Arminius.
Hope it makes sense,
Thanks,
Sebastian

Quanto produced better character than Canto, but he was not in Mutz's class in terms of character or producing character. Even today, the strongest working traits coming from SL usually have a good dose of Mutz, often through Cello or Eros.
