The person came across as very arrogant in the ad.  Sure hope no one is foolish enough to give them a dog.

LOL Berniemac!

CL ads disgust me at times.  I just checked ours and the first two ads I looked at.... dog in labor, puppy stuck, bitch is literally ripping the puppy apart trying to get it out and the owner refuses to go to the vet...... people with a Doberman no longer want to pay for EPI meds, rehoming dog....WTF?!

VK you must be in Grand Rapids as I just read the ads myself.  It just gets worse every day I read Craigslist.  I did email the idiot with the dog in labor and told them the vet was their only option unless they contact the Humand Society and perhaps by surrendering the dog the vet there can help this poor female.

How awful (doberman in labor)!   People like this do not need to have pets or kids!

Somebody should contact them telling them they have such described dog, and drop off a stuffed dog at their doorstep.

Wow, what an arrogant person. I seriously doubt the poster will ever find a dog like that for FREE, lol!

I came across an ad on craiglist some months back. The poster was wanting an already trained PPD (GSD) for free or they might possibly be willing to spend up to $200. I was thinking "Ya keep dreaming on that one skippy!"

Most pet ads on CL disgust me to no end! I try to not even go on there anymore. *sighs*

Ugh-VKGSDs- that is horrific! Probably couldn't be bothered to get their sleeves soiled trying to help the bbitch, either. She will die, you know she will. Anyway you can flag that or send if to animal control? That would be one of the circumstances I would support having an animal seized to try to save her life. My God, the poor thing! As for the OPs ad---sheer nonsense. jackie harris

Fortunately the Craigslist person here in Grand Rapids did take the poor girl to the vet.  Of course the puppy was dead but Momma did surrvive.  Hopefully they will spay her before she ends up pregnant again.

Here's another one---male gsd has a "slight hip problem."  Oh brother!  Where do these people come from?

I have 2 full blooded German Shepherds that I am giving away to a good home. Please note that I will only give them to a good home where someone is going to take some time with them. The male, Bruce, is about 5 1/2 years old, very beautiful, and is AKC registered. He is just developing a slight hip problem in his right, rear leg. He is very, very active, loves to play, and is super energetic. The female, Hope, is a little bit older and has been fixed. She is docile and not nearly as energetic and active as Bruce. She is reserved but still playful and exciting. I am having to get rid of them simply because I no longer have the time to devote to them that they need.
