Kind of ironic that I'm gonna have to go on an Egge hunt. LOL Sorry to hear about your knee Judy, hopefully it is something that will get better soon.

The gal in my sig had a much-loved stuffed panda bear. One day I was taking the clothes out of the washer, and she came downstairs and gave me a look. I knew she wanted SOMETHING, but when I opened the basement door to let her out into the backyard, she wouldn't go.
Finally, she gave up and walked away.
With the next handful of clothes I pulled out, there was the panda bear! I knew then that was what she'd wanted, and gave it to her, even though it was still wet.
It was her comforter, and she'd often lie on her side, and just chew on it gently. She never tried to tear it apart. It did develop a small rip eventually, but I sewed it back up.
When she died at age 14 1/2, I buried it with her.
I was glad I did. All three of the dogs I have now would have ripped it to shreds within minutes!
We had a number of stuffed toys lined up along the back of the couch, and she never tried to touch them. When we got her a new panda, it took me quite some time to convince her that it was okay to play with it. Funny, I don't remember what happened to that toy. Her old panda was always her favourite.

http://www.elitek9.com/Egg-Dog-Toy/productinfo/R03/ has the best price on them.
it does wear down the teeth on dogs that are crazy for it. Karlo chewed the small end so he could carry it.
I had to take his away(along with his teaserball, jollyballs). His canines are flat and he is only 2. The frozen jollyballs are probably what did it. I'll give him one every now and then for a few minutes to watch his craziness.
