I would have to disagree with the above comment.

I believe that he is looking for poop that he himself already stepped on.  I think what he is looking for is on the bottom of his shoe.

Are not you supposed to go to helper school or something in order to properly do that? Anyway, it is funny as hell! Lol. One question assault me though, ( and I don't mean to deviate original post) how soon its advisable to start bite work? Reason what I ask its because my friend told me he didn't start on his dogs until they were 16 mths, but I've seen so many vids on under a year pups doing bite work... so I don't know.

In my home protection work starts as soon as they open their little eyes and ears

Cool, just want to make sure I made myself clear, I meant bite work as in handler/helper/sleeve bite work stage, not so much holding on to a rug or playing tug ( I understand it all conforms the foundation of bite work) but I mean this specific stage. Thanks.

Thats a huge grey area, being that they make puppy sleeves of all sorts.  But I would say 16 months or a lot younger like 10 months would be acceptable.  Dogs just vary soo much.

As so training techniques as you can see

Again, it all depends on the dog.  Some dogs mature quicker than others.  I do not like to move forward to quick.  I would rather step back and make sure the dog has a solid foundation.  We train mostly K-9's and to us it is very important to build them up slow.  Like this dog in the video..... he has never had a solid foundation put on him, yet they are trying to move forward.

Couldnt agree more.  To the point that the dog dosnt want to be there.

He is like "please take me home, Im in the car and he is still f*****g with me

Please take me home"

It is amazing the gargabe training that can be found while surfing on the net

by BMartin on 21 April 2011 - 02:04

This could possibly be the WORST training I have ever witnessed.  The dog is crap, the handler is crap, the "trainer" is crap, and the helpers are crap.  These are the kind of dickheads that give our hard work and dedication to "protection" sport a bad name.  Who is this douchebag and where is he from?
