This is the Yoschy grandson my double-great-granddaughter is pregnant with right now (or anyway, I find out for sure on Friday). She is the girl in my avatar. He looks a little different from the other Yoschy progeny.

Yes, he is important. Arguably one of the best breedings of Fero to Troll to Yoschy, with literally 1000sof quality dogs all over the world (mine included) having those dogs in their pedigree.

A lot of people talk about "handler agression" when they say Yoschy. Hmmm... I am reluctant to call it that. Having seen a few of his sons live and in person many times, his grandsons many times, as well as my own dog -  the trait he most definitely brings down to his offspring is - dominance.

They are not as much hanlder/owner aggressive, although there is a little bit of truth to that, but they are supremely domintant and confident dogs, not for the novice handlers. I am talking about "alpha puppies"of the litter, not all offspring, of course, which is nonsense.

To my knowledge he resided in Germany all his life, I don't know if he took trips here and there, but Dollenwiese is a West German kennel and that's where he was.The kennel is still around.

He did a V performance in the German Regionals (LGA) and competed at BSP (German Nationals) in 1994 once. Did good with tracking V - 96, did good with obedience - V 93 and bombed in protection - only 53 points. I do not know what happened with protection part.

List of all his progeny is here: http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/progeny/13891.html

Some of notables of his progeny are Amigo Bracheler See, Rambo van Tiekerhook, a ot of Schifflache kennel dogs, a lot of non sport "real" K9 dogs, Waldwinkel kennels used him a lot too, a lot of dogs from Konneforde kennels (looked at his son Kimon, my dog's grandfather and petted him a week ago), Hutch From Dunklen Zwinger and so on and so forth. All this from memory, surely more to be said, so hit the google search and good luck!

He he... Did not out, huh? That doesn't surprise me at all. My dog only outs when I kick him in the nads.

Joking of course, but he SURE does not like to out.

With arm - better, with ball or toys - , one say "too more Yoshy"

Not outting is the only reason I've ever had to correct my dog (with prong).  I wouldn't suppose he were the dominant dog among his siblings as far as rank goes.  However, he had an "unplanned" litter himself last year, and every pup in that litter of three displayed strong aggression and confidence of themselves, that separation became an absolute necessity to prevent the fighting.  They each respect the older dogs, but became intensely aggressive to their siblings.

Well I also have a female 3-4 on Yoshy and she is a screamer...can't settle down....ball crazy....great obedience dog but, too fast for her own good! She NEVER shuts up....! Is good in a kennel...must be on a down in the house or she's all over the place. Very loyal....protective.....Good grips....outs fine...perpetual motion.

I contribute this to lack of nerve.  I see it in a lot of lines...!
