just wait a few years, the angulation on some german dogs is getting about as extreme as some of the american lines.

UL- scary, sad & true

by Orchardhof on 27 September 2009 - 08:09

Uber you are right about that trend.  Its sad when a dog needs about twenty feet to get up enough speed
to get those hind legs into a trot.   Thats not efficiency in gaiting and does nothing for endurance over a distance of ground or clearing the hurdle or wall with a dumbbell or herding sheep or being a police dog etc.

If anyone was following the AKC shows on the East Coast a few months ago there was a highly placed German male being shown by Jimmy Moses. I forget the dogs name but he won quite a few shows and was supposed to be placed high at the German championship. Rumor has it some of the more connected American breeders are considering adding some german blood to their kennel programs.
