GS Mom: The pup was imported from Germany. Has all the proper paperwork in order to register AKC. immyjay: Yes...it still states COPIES in the AKC site as I've mentioned before...but they won't complete the registration process until he sends originals. Bob-O: He went to Office Max and had them make professional color copies. They are clear, ledgible and no watermark to question their authenticity. Wondering if this is going to become status quo, if AKC would consider a notorized copy. What a pain! But hey! If you have some neighbor dog come through your back yard and nail your bitch? As long as it was on US soil, you don't have to prove a thing as far as health, temperament, intelligence or even a pure breed...AKC would take it w/o questions. Makes no sense to me!

Soothers, I have imported and dual registered many dogs with the AKC. What is required is a copy of their pink SV papers along with a copy of the bescheinigung from the SV office, listing you as the new owner ... thats it
