VomFelsenHof is it safe for them to walk around or be around after putting on the ground?

You can make your own fly trap by taking an empty 2liter pop bottle (remove lid), cut in half about 1/3 of the way down. In the bottom half put some raw meat and about 1/2 inch of water. Then invert the top half and place inside the bottom and push firmly together. The flys get in but can't get back out and eventually die or drown in the water at the bottom.

With the DE, use the human grade, not the kind for pools. The human grade is safe for them to eat and also to put in the environment. The animals can walk on it - you can also put it on their fur.
